Trunk dynamat

How much dynamat do you guys think I would need to do the trunk of my G35 coupe?

I used 4, one and a half on my lid and about two and a half on the floor. I didn't put any on the sides so add 2 or 3 sheets if you plan on doing the sides.

just for a comparison I used 65 sq. feet on my g35 sedan and still had some left over, I would go for about 55 to be safe


ps. Dont use dynamat, there are a TON of products with better quality and a better price...... for example eDEAD

65 sq ft on your trunk?

I used 9 sheets for my doors, trunk, trunk lid and rear deck. 36 sq ft total.

i used about 28 sqft. of eDead in my sedan, much cheaper than dynamat. I used v1 but just swapped my trunk lid so i'm going to get 25sq.ft. of v4teklite and put it over the v1.

Im doing the same. 25sq.ft. of v4teklite from eDead for my trunk. Should be here tomorrow or wednesday with the rest of my system

I did double layers, I wanted to make sure it was going to be quiet I tried one layer on my doors and it was still nosiey from just the stock radio........so one is not enough.
