Don't forget that the Kenwood units use the new Garmin manufactured and programmed KNA-G510. It's like plugging a Garmin GPS unit into your Kenwood DD head unit, with touch screen. It's ROM based and flash upgradable. No moving parts.

hey do these navi units come with bluetooth or does the car itself have to have bluetooth, ie. only 06 and newer? how was the installation process on these units? they loook sooo sweeet.

Some aftermarket head units have Bluetooth kits that you can add on.

Sure, you can have two navi systems if you have the stock navigation system. you just need to get the DD kit.

The only thing that i don't like about the z-1 is that it doesn't have the option to be turned off when you are not using it, unless you turn off the engine

I hooked up a switch to my Z1 using the switched 12V wire (red). Makes it handy when I bring the car in for service or when its really hot in the car and I don't want it to power up.

what about haveing a stock navi, and haveing a multimedia system???? wut i meen by this is replacing the radio like hero did and haveing a multimedia system like hero's set up but w/out the nav, has anybody done that?????????
