I plan to add a sub to my coupe and would like to know where you guys mounted the amp. Would it be safe to mount the amp on top of the Bose amp? The Xtant amp I plan to install would barely fit. I was thinking of under the seats but theres not much room there too. Any info would be appreciated.

 

I tried installing my amp in the location of the bose amp but it gets too hot! My amp kept shutting off. I had to move it in the trunk. Its currently mounted on my 12" box but im planning on getting a custom box made that will allow for 2 subs and 2 amps mounted in/on it. Couldnt think of another place to mount the amps. I saw some guy's post where he pulled out the spare tire, installed a sub and amp in that spot, and used clear plex glass so you could see the amp. You lose your spare tire tho.

I plan to keep the system basically stock so I need to keep the Bose amp. Has anyone done the installation and been able to keep the Bose amp there? Im going for a "stealth" installation so I dont want the amp in the open. Any other locations that I should look at?
