Factory IPOD Installation...

I'm expecting my factory nissan ipod adapter to be delivered in the next two days, so i thought i'd start the search for installation instructions. i know a few people have already done this, but does anyone have a DIY or pictures, or anything that can be helpful during the install?

thanks!

I am interested in this as well. So far, the best integration I have seen is HERE. I am planning on ordering this in the next couple of days, but I am always open to less expensive alternatives.

How does the Factory Adapter work? Does it let you control it w/ all the factory controls on the radio, Plus Th I-Pod? Do you loose any Factory options, CD Changer, Sat? I know some of the aftermarket ones you loose something like Sat?

personally I think I did it the best way with the factory stereo. You are going to need the SAT button and then install the PAC-NIS which gives you 2 aux rca inputs. Then I ran a y cable that changes 2 rca's into a mini jack. Ran that from the PAC device into the center console. Then i bought the i pod charger thing that has a built in mini jack out and a built in pre amp. The ipod then plus into the ipod charger and be moved around the car so people can play with the ipod from any seat location without it being locked down someplace. Plus it also charges! If you need pics I can show you. I've tried every way and this one by far worked the best. My friends have it so u can control the ipod through the factory stereo but they all claim it's easier to control the ipod with the click wheel and i definitely agree. The pac thing is like 80 bucks and the ipod

and the belkin charger is this

trust me this is the best way to do it

How did you get the cables back through the center console? I've seen pics on removing the radio, I would like to have mine in the center cupholder area (05 6-spd Sedan), but not sure how to get the cable back there??? I haven't started ripping anything apart yet, I was hoping to have some direction prior to doing that.
