I'm interested in getting satellite radio soon, but I hate the stock radio and the display (lack thereof) while using the satellite radio. What I'm looking to do is buy an aftermarket unit, which I can place in the pocket above the A/C controls and run it into the Sat button, so I don't have to use an FM modulator.

Has anyone done this or even better yet...is it possible? My guess was that the Infiniti unit will not take an aftermarket connection, but I'm hoping someone will prove me wrong.

many have been waiting for an aftermarket aux in adapter. not yet available that i am aware of. keep you eye on PAC (pacific accessory corp. http://www.pac-audio.com/index.asp) and BiltzSafe http://www.blitzsafe.com .
i currently have the factory XM unit and the interface does suck. i use a delphi skyfi in my office and would like to integrate it into my g but don't want to use an fm mod. (currently the only option). although as shitty as my "premium" sound system sounds i can't image it being much worse with an fm mod??!!
