Question for those of you with custom setups

Hi, I was just wondering if a custom setup like below (walled off) blocks bass from getting inside the cabin? Does the bass still hit hard and feel solid or does it just rattle the trunk? Basically, is there a huge difference between something like this or 2 4080 style boxes?

I plan on doing one 12W6v2 and a 500/1 in a coupe. The plan is to build a wall like the one below. I will be removing the rear 6x9's.

^^^ Did removing the 6x9's help alot? Also, do you "feel" the bass or just hear it. Thanks.

^^^ as stated, I plan on only using 1 12W6v2. I just wanted to know whether or not building a "wall" will make a big difference in the amount of bass that reaches the cabin.
