amps

amps

with the jl 500/5 in a coupe with a sub..... how are you guys wiring the car? it seems like the balance would be way off if you wired the 100x2 to the fronts, the 25x2 to the rear side, with the 250x1 pushing the sub.

does that sound good? there's an eclipse 5-ch amp, the xa5000 that's been recommended to me. but i don't know that it will fit in the stock bose location...?

do you already have the amp...its best to get a sep amp for your sub from your components

best to get a separate amp... is that for power reasons, or are there SQ issues? the reason i was leaning toward the 500/5 is because i know for sure it will fit in the stock bose amp location, and i'd like to keep the trunk clear so i can fold my rear seat down.

Yeah.. why is it better to go with separate amps?
