What voltage would you run it off? What are you trying to acomplish?

I was under the impression that the AC board is integrated in to the stereo board and that is why you need the JDM part.

That's exactly the way the USDM AC controller is wired.

If you are an electrical whiz and you want to figure out where all the circuts run and which circuits are AC and which are for the radio, then best wished to you.

But since you're going to have the JDM AC controller anyway, just use it, unless you are a masochist and like a real challenge.

This is what the back of the OEM radio looks like. See how the AC controller (white plastic cover) is integrated into the HU.

I THINK he's going to try and cut the USDM AC controller board from the USDM radio circuit board and wire it up independantly of the radio.... all the while having the JDM AC controller board sitting next to him.

Hey, I remember one of the stereo shops in SoCal did that way back in the day. (Heh, I'm an oldtimer. . .on this board at least.) I think they just dremelled the ac controller right off and it seemed to still work.

Too bad I'm to chicken to just do that. . .I bought my $200 controller!
