iPod + Nav + BT = ??
I'm looking for a solution for my '03 6mt coupe. I have the stock Bose stereo with cd changer and SAT button, although I don't use sat radio and don't plan on it.
I'm looking for ideas on what solution there is that will allow me to connect my iPod, as well as a navi system and a handfree BT system for my phone. For the navi side, I was thinking of using my Blackberry as I can get Telenav and a BT gps receiver for it.
So far my idea is to use,
USA-Spec or the Factory Ipod connection (are these the same? Do both charge the iPod as well as allow to control from the steering wheel and device? Do they both have the text displaying on the head-unit?)
Use a Parrot 3300 with gps, this should allow me to take care of the navigation, as well as handfree BT with my phone.
Anyone use this combination? Besides this, I know I could do a DD mod with and get a new head unit etc, but figured the other way would be much cheaper.
