I still have 4 kappas 653.7i from my old car. Speakers are less than 1 yr old.

Can I install them in my stock audio system - do I need extra wires? Do I need an amp for them? I will get an audio place to do the install.

the kappa is bgest served with an amp yes...the reference set is the drop in set from infinity...

will the spekaer work if you just plugged it in? yeah it iwll make sound, but really, you ShoUld get an aftermarket amp

so basically my audio shop will have to rewire the whole system from the stock HU to the new speakers to the amp?

 

in a sense yes...but for a good shop, it shouldnt be all that challenging i do it all the time for my customers
