You might want to check out the ECLIPSE AV8533. Im pretty sure the alpine wont beat it in picture quality. Eclipse has made some of the best monitors on the market for a few years now. Go check that hu out.

Does it have over 1.3 million pixels on a 7" screen? The Alpine does.

The Alpine IVA-D900 has Over 1.152 Million Pixels....its beats every other monitor on the market 4 fold..THe next highest competitor is the Kenwood at 336,300 Pixels...and a few others are right around there as well...Eclipse is nice..but cant touch the D900 bud, Sorry!

Yup, You guys are absolutely right. The alpine does have more pixels than any other screen on the market...for now.

I was under the impression that the AV8533 had their new screen in it since it is their newest model, but i guess they are saving it for another product. The AV8533 has only 208K.

If you want to wait about 2 months, eclipse is releasing a touch screen capable of over 1.5 million pixels. I thought the AV8533 already incorporated this new screen, but i guess they are holding out for a bit. In any case, the alpine is the best for picture quality for now...

I went with the pioneer avh-p7500 over the alpine because it had touchscreen. I hate using remotes. Other than that the alpine has a nicer display, i've seen them both side by side.

I think the Pioneer AVIC-N1 will be the one that rules them all.

I have the Alpine IVA-D900 and it's great. I've always had Alpine units and this is the best by far. The other Alpine Units w/ screens that i've had are great, but this one is awesome!!!
