Re: What kind of headunits are in your G

I'm planning on getting the new Pioneer AVIC-N1 when it comes out in March. Has G-Tech type functionality built in.

Re: What kind of headunits are in your G

I was under the impression that the "new" denon z1 is old now. It is no longer produced. Red mountain audio used to carry it but they are no longer carrying it because it is unavailable. Unless they are replacing it and i havent heard about it. Im thinking about going with the nakamichi cd700.

Re: What kind of headunits are in your G

Hey man u are in for a big surprise when u get into replacing your head unit. The a/c contols and the factory head unit are on one circut board!!!! It is a one piece circut board so there is no way to separate the two. It is NOT a situation of removing the a/c contols from the radio. There is no way to do it as far as I know. If u do find out please let me know. Thanks, and sorry for the bad news.

Ya that pioneer is going to be mucho $$$ when it first comes out. Too bad it only has a 6.5" screen though.

What about finding a HU that will still work with our steering wheel controls?

Re: What kind of headunits are in your G

The Alpine IVA-D900 has the best resolution BY FAR of any pop-up HU. That is my choice.
