For those that have the Drive + Play installed with the Bose premium head unit, where did you place the control unit? I was 90% through the installation until it became apparent that bolting the control unit to the back of the cradle housing the head unit would not work. There is insufficient space behind and underneath the head unit to place the control unit and the corresponding wires. I had the display screen mounted to the inside of the storage lid where the factory navigation system would normally reside. I also had the control dial mounted to the underside of the cup holder lid using the 60° base. I tried repositioning the control unit to no avail.I have removed the display screen and the control dial until I can find a suitable location for the control unit.
