Low Tire Pressure Light

How do you get the low tire pressure light to clear. I had one tire at about 20 lbs which caused the light and after bringing it back up to operating pressure the light is still on. I tried disconnecting the battery to see if it may reset but no luck. Is there a secret to clearing this light. Thanks..

if i remember correctly the pressure have to be 32 or 35 psi something like that and drive for about 5 miles it should turn off.. if it still doesn't turn off there could be a problem with your (TPMS)

The sensor will trip under several conditions. It will trip if one tire is too low. It wil also trip if your front tire pressures are too different from your back tire pressures. I would recommend checking the pressure on all your tires and making sure they are all at 35psi (assuming stock tires). I'd also recommend driving to a close gas station, as the more you drive the more the air in the tires expands and will not give you as accurate of a reading to the true pressure of the tires as if you were able to fill your tires without driving at all (or only to a nearby station).

There is a harness buried behind the dash that contains a wire. If you ground that wire it will cause the low tire pressure light to flash a code telling you what is wrong.
