Anyone know of any good deals for this radar? I got a ticket today so im trying to look for a good deal on one which will pay off everytime i get saved by the radar.

i found 299.99 for the x50, anyone else find any other deals?

tried searchin the net and thats all i found. did a search on g35driver and just found opinions and reasons why its better or worse than the V1.

any help is appreciated.

eBay for sure... I have the plain jane 8500 and it has worked flawlessly for the 3 years...

 

I originally had the x50 for 1.5 years and have nothing but good stuff to say about it. I did A LOT of research before buying it and can say that:

1: It's definitely worth the money
2: I recommend it hands down to the V1

I had friends with a V1 and I would be picking up cops 2-3 seconds prior to it showing up on their V1's on all bands except laser (to be expected).

Anyway, for the best prices, keep an eye on the private classifieds here as I have seen a few for sale in the last couple months, or hit up ebay.



FYI, the only reason I sold my x50 is because I upgraded. I ended up buying a Beltronics (parent company of Escort) STi

It has a longer range, less falses, and is fully invisible to all current and future RDD's (since I live near VA and DC). Although, it also carries a heftier pricetag.

Escort also just came out with a new detector that has GPS integration!!!

i got the beltronic rx65. very helpful and effective when you got a heavy foot.in reviews equally as good as the 8500 x50.

 

Got my X50 of craigslist from a local guy for 250. Just got a speeding ticket with it. Go hit with laser and had no time to slow down. Looking at laser jammers now. Blinder looks like my best bet.
