I got this from metra to test fit in my car. The color is ever soo slightly off, but most people will never ever notice this. The buttons feel ok (a little on the mushy side), they DO have a back light and they adjust with the dimmer at night. The quality of the plastic is solid. much like the factory trim. the only complaint is that it lacks the chrome trim around the temp button. for someone with the dual climate controls who doesn't want to do any soldering. This is a great choice. I'd give it a 8.5 out of 10.

Please do, I'm interested in getting this kit. if it works great, and looks good enough then I'll gladly do this rather then spending the $260 or more for the other kit. I still need to get a radio that I like and god knows what else. Can't just get one thing, it roller coasters into a million things to get. Such is life

I like the yellow painted parts......On my new finisher I didn't paint the rings on the vents. I didn't want to paint the other vents. Did you paint all of yours yellow? Dash pic. I'm also getting a momo shifter. How about you? I got the parts from Japan and will be doing my DD install in FL..I like the JDM factory look of the controller plus I got it in brown not black...I hope these don't give you trouble later..

Any one know where we can buy the JDM kit instead? I was thinking of i would rather dish out the extra cash to have a good looking interior. And i read here and in other forums that you can still get the dual climate control to work, just use the old switch, and solder it to the jdm unit or something.
