Center stack

Hi guys, seems my center stack is not working properly and the problem
stems from the radio (03 sedan with Bose). So thought might be time to
change the HU, my question is will the controls on the steering wheel still work..

Thanks

If you get the proper PAC steering wheel interface, and your new HU has a remote, then yes, you can keep the steering wheel controls.

I'm a newbie to this stuff, what is a PAC, I'm thinking of some controller
for the A/C but not sure.., and would I have to use the remote, I hate
using the 5 at home for the TV, DVD, STEREO etc...

What doe a PAC cost?

Thanks Gilley...

PAC is the company that makes the steering wheel interfaces. Here's a list of them. http://www.pac-audio.com/products/pr...%20I nterface

Most steering wheel interfaces are about $50. You must get the one that matches your new HU.

For the HU swap, you'll also need the JDM trim piece, JDM AC controller, antenna adapter, and Nissan wiring harness plugs.

Oh

Thanks Sean, but sounds like it will be more than I want to spend
right now, so maybe I will just look for a forum member that has a Bose
HU that he would like to sell but how I will I know if it will fit, guess it would have to be a 03 sedan as it seems to me that the coupe cd is not at the
same level (read that somewhere).
