Farad Cap

Im putting 1 JL 10W6 and JL 500/1. With that setup, is it necessary to get a Farad Cap. Would that setup drain a lot of power from my stock battery w/o the Farad Cap.

Not sure what you mean by Farah Cap, but I think you are talking about a capacitor(cap) which stores energy in units of Farads. I personally don't like to use them as they are somewhat of a bandaid for an ailing system

Don't need it. I agree with redlude97. Upgrade your "Big 3", use 4awg for power and you won't have any probs.

I'd go for a yellow top before getting a cap.
I'm running 1200/1 amp, plus a mac mini off of my yellow top w/ no problems.
