I was just wondering if there was a double din conversion kit for the 05 coupes that would let you fit a 7" double din navi

My understanding is that "Double Din" refers to the size of the radio unit itself. So any "Double Din" unit should fit into the standard "Double Din Kit" that consist of the JDM parts.

 

I think double din is just the type of unit it is, because I know the 6.5" double din units can fit because many members on here have done it but eclipse came out with new 7 inch units and I was wondering if those would fit in the bracket.

 

A lot of people have the Pioneer Avic Z1 installed. That has a 7" screen and fits in the DD kit with no problem.

The new Eclipse AVN 6610 is a 7" and will fit. The old ones like my 6600 are 6.5" and have buttons on the sides which were moved for the larger screen. The footprint is the same.
