Is there cheaper alternative to get DVD on Nav?
Is there cheaper alternative to get DVD on Nav?
Has anyone investigated this device? www.rtv-veg.com. It's around $80 bucks (Comp USA even carries it). It's for home use, but it runs off of 12 volts, so it can be used in the car. There was a brief discussion on FreshAlloy (<a href="http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=FX45&Number=67609530&Forum =All_Forums&Words=rtv-veg&Match=Entire%20Phrase&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Ol d=6months&Main=67608505&Search=true#Post67609530" >Here's the Freshalloy post</a>) but there was no conclusion
The idea was to use cut the NAVI rgb lines and route it through the VGA in and VGA out of the VEG unit, and then just hook up a DVD player to the SVHS or composite.
Any thoughts? Thanks

Sounds very promising. I just found a way to recycler my about to throw away 5 years old 19" View Sonic Monitor.
