I've been reading around the forum and it sounds like you guys have problems with the stock bose Head unit going bad. My younger brother just got a 2003 G35 sedan for himself and we just ran in to the 6-Disc problem.

I'm wondering if you guys have any suggestion as far as this goes. We were told there are three different models for that year? Maybe that just means stock, Bose, and DD Navi? We are trying to figure it out. The dealership sent us over to some guy who wants $375.00 to fix it.

If you guys have any suggestions or know of any for sale I would really appreciate it!

 

Check the MARKETPLACE up at the top of the screen for someone selling theirs. There is a difference between the Bose and non-Bose, so get the one that you have.

 

If your brothers car is under warranty the dealer should fix it free of cost.

 

The dealer wants to charge me "between 5 and 600 dollars". I was basically told to find another route.
