03 G35 Seadan w/ Bose question...

My Bose cd player showed "ERR" and luckily I bought the extended warranty so the dealer said it would take care of it. I got the car back and they said they replaced the radio and it stated it on the Infiniti dealer work order. Here's my question, do they replace the whole unit or something in the back that is not visable to be because it's the exact same unit (same scratches & exact same stations already programmed). Also, it now sound horrible. No bass in the rear speakers only on the doors. can someone hellp me out before I look like an a-hole going to complain tot he dealer (they already hate me)

Thanks!

They only replace the board, not the whole unit. Before my warraty expired, the dealer gave me the board in advance since he knew this is a common problem with 03 sedans.....

They usually only replace the board, but sometimes the problem is more severe and the entire unit must be replaced. The techs usually write down the radio stations and you front panel remains the same regardless.

If you still have problems, go back to the dealer. But try adjusting the bass and fader first.
