It's not complicated, just a lot of steps. This should help. http://g35ipod.com/installHW.php?skin=1

Unhappy Thanks Sean

Had a audio garage pop it out for 40$, but maybe I will be the one to put
it back, he claimed it was a big job, I was not there of course, I just
hope the radio comes back working as good as new, I hate throwing money
on the Bose HU, if it flips out again, will look at alternatives. The audio guy
said if I do I would be looking at 2000$ which I don't want to spend.

There are less expensive alternatives. If nothing else, buy a used OEM HU from someone on the boards that has taken out their radio. The only people that want them are out of warranty people, so you should be able to get them cheap.

its just alot of screws to take out...if you take out the panel on the driver side, then the passenger side as you would to replace the air filter...then all you have left is to remove the shifter console and the clock...then its just 3 bolts that hold in the waterfall headunit setup

Upgrade is the best way but you do have options.

Thanks guys

I looked around but could not find one, there were lots for the
coupes but none for the 03.5 sedan, I heard they are not all the same
if it does not work for long the Bose will be dumped, what do I need
for the dash to look OEM like, I'm a newbie to this stuff..maybe change is
good...
