ac controller will still look stock, just look at my pictures. The only thing you'll have to do is solder the "dual climate" button from your old ac to your new one because the new one does not come with it. Audio controls will be lost unless you get a device which by the looks of it, only Pac Swi-X works. Bad thing is there is lag when you use that. I like touching the screen anyways so i opted not to use a steering wheel control interface.

did ur kenwood have steering wheel control with your ipod?

 

kenwood has more varieties of Pac units. I personally don't use an ipod. And no i did not have a steering wheel interface with the kenwood either. I've learned to live without it..

 

which HU do u like better?
the pioneer avh6800 or the kenwood?
in terms of functions, picture graphics, and audio??

 

also, with the pac swi-x.. u said there's a lag... will it lag the HU itself or lag when you use the steering wheel control?

 

i like the pioneer better comes with more graphics and has bigger screen. the lag is in the steering wheel control not the HU.
