Re: NAVIGATION QUESTION

You have to break it down in stages.

Re: NAVIGATION QUESTION

The Nav system is pretty much the best one you'll find in an import (at least compared to Lexus, according to C&D and MT)... the problem, though, is that since it calculates to such precision, it takes a lot more RAM. Unfortunately, you have to break it into stages of less than 1800 miles or so (don't have the manual on me, something like that...) It's not too terribly much to ask. If you want to drive more than 1800 in a day, odds are you have a certain town in mind that you might possibly stop... IMO, the advantages far outweigh the single annoyance that a driver MIGHT experience at one point in their life.

...but that's just me.

Re: NAVIGATION QUESTION

Yo, you shouldn't have to. I drove from Cali to NY (claremont to Kings Point on long island) without a problem. i just typed in the address and went on a long 3 day trek. And now i'm in florida..went from NY to FL (Kings Point to Pensacola) and had no error message like that. it just said basically "begin driving" and i just followed my navi from there on...

check your navi out...it should treat any address in the US as if you are going down the street to the market

Re: NAVIGATION QUESTION

The Nav manual actually makes mention of the fact that it sometimes can't route clear across the country, and suggests you pick an intermediate destination.
