Hey guys,
i had a Rockford amp, and sub. but the sub blew so i bought a U.S amp and a soundstream sub. I think the amp is pretty good, but i dont like the soundstream sub at all...I gotten a much beter feeling while listening to songs on the rockford. I had the older P3s. the soundstream juss pounds but qualitty isnt that great. I paid $450 for soundstream sub lass year and now their sellin for around $100 on ebay...fk
Im thinking of going back to Rockford, I like the new P3s, http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/prodde...76&catid=20119

im thinking of buying two of those subs.... I have this amp US xterminator XT-2000d. you could check the specs on http://www.usamps.com/
I wanna know if i could run two rockford subs on that amp without any harm? Will the amp be good enuff to give power to two subs?
and i really wanna know why the older p3 blew up on me, i think it might be because the box was smaller so im prob gonna get a bigger sealed box.

What do u guys think?
thnx

^^ thx, the reason i wanted rockford cuz i had one and plus i could get those subs for a decent price from a friend.
k i was lookin at the specs for the subs and the amp i have. this is what it is.
the sub
# Subwoofer Size 12"
# Dual Voice Coil Yes
# Impedance 2 ohms
# Peak Power Handling 1000 watts
# RMS Power Handling 500 watts

and the amp is
RMS power (2ohm) 300w X 1

since the sub is runnin at 500rms, and the amp is giving out only 300rms, i dont think it would be enuff to support two subs.
It says 300w X 1, so if i have two subs will it be 150 rms to each sub?

overall, do u think the amp will be able to run those two subs to their max without any problems?

thnx
