ipod integration w/ 2006 Sedan 6disc in-dash changer (non-Bose)

Based on what I've read in the forums, there's no auxiliary input for satellite or external CD changer on my unit. I'm not at a place to replace HU so it sounds like I'll need to tap into the antenna and use an FM device as a stop-gap.

Any recommendations on decent units for this? Also, does anyone know what type antenna interface is on the in-dash 6 Disc changer (non-Bose)?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks for the scoop. They list the following note:

Note: The PA11 iPod interface uses your receiver's CD changer port. If the vehicle has an existing CD changer, it must be disconnected.

* Works only with factory double-DIN (DD) radio equipped with "CD/CHG" button

Being that mine is an in-dash CD changer and I don't have the "CD/CHG" button on my HU, does this mean that I can still use this to hookup the iPod and I simply lose the control capabilities from the HU? From the pictures I've seen, the only PA11 interface to the HU is through a harness designed to plug into an optional CD changer port which mine does not have.

Thanks.

yea its made for the external changer input, you retain all factory capabilities, including the in-dash 6 disk changer. And also it lets you change tracks from the steering wheel, another plus in my book, as well as giving you a set of auxiliary rca inputs for whatever you can think of (dvd player, external sat radio, etc.)
