Speaker upgrade worth it?

After a ton of research i have finally decided on my audio options for my premium package (without navigation) coupe. I am going with the Alpine IVW-200 w/ the blackbird, A 4080 enclosure and and a JL audio 10w6 and a rockford P325.1 amp to power the subs. All that is a definate my question is; is it worth it to add Componet speakers in the front and coxial speakers in the rear and another amp (possiably the Rockford P450.4) for an aditional $800? and if so what brand speakers do you recomend.

Thanks

If you're going all out on a DD Alpine, JL sub in a 4080 enclosure and a RF amp, you might as well change the stock speakers, at least the front. Even if you run them off the Aline HU and forego the expense of another amp, you'll be glad you did.

If you are spending that much money, you really ought to consider getting component speakers. No other single upgrade in your system will have as dramatic effect on your sound quality as a set of good speakers. Let me suggest Focal, Morel, DLS and Dynaudio as excellent options.

DEFINATELY go with new front comps. I'd even say ditch the sub if you have to save money. DLS UP6 is my personal recommendation for comps. The DLS UP6 creates quite a substantial amount of bass while still sounding awesome. They are wonderful to listen to, and they fit in the stock locations with very little work. I would ditch the rear speakers all together and bi-amp the front components.

Just my $0.02
