Components in the Rear?

Components in the Rear?
I was wondering what are your guys' thoughts on putting component speakers in the rear as well as the front? Would it just be wasted money? I have the NON-Bose system so i have a total of 4 speakers to replace.
I dont know car audio that well, (as this post may already show) but I wanted to put Infinity speakers, Kappa Perfect 6.1 components in.
Let me know if you think I would be better off going with maybe a 2 or 3 way 6.5" in the rear (I dont have the 6x9's on the rear deck)

Personally, I hate rear fill. I like to concentrate on a real nice front sound stage. There is no need for rear fill. If you feel like you will be watching movies, then I would recommend some rear fill but components would be OD. I think an exception would be an SUV. That would probably be the only time I would like to have components front and rear.

Get a nice set of components and get a nice 4 channel amplifier. If possible, you can bi-amplify the front soundstage. Then focus on a nice single 10" or 12" sub and you will have a real nice sound system. In our cars (coupes), there really is no need for a real big system, unless you just want to be loud. Even then, a front soundstage will be more than enough.

I'm putting the 6.1's in the back of my coupe. I have Dolby Digital/DTS and want rear speakers for surround sound. I'll be playing around for tweeter location and will be fabricating panels out of fiberglass once I determin the best placement. I know a lot of people say just put cheap speakers in the back, but I want them to match the other speakers.
