problem with the headunit?

Anyone haveing problems with the headunit eating CD's? Im on my third one now. And the CD's arent burnt ones either but ones you buy so cant blame it on being a CD-R.

What do you mean by eating? I also use store-bought music CD's. It doesn't eat them, but it has jammed 3 times. After waiting for a new unit to be shipped to the dealer, swapped out, old unit shipped back to Clarion, CD's extracted, mailed back to the dealer -- then I go pick them up and they're still in good condition, not eaten at all. To be fair, the current unit (the 4th so far) has lasted longer than the first 3 combined. So, with a little luck, it won't happen again... (knock on wood).

NOTE: Bose headunits are manufactured by Clarion, and still get shipped off to Clarion for CD extraction.
