cd player finally died...i have an 03 bose, is it possible to take a non bose and hook it up, or am i SOL.

 

you can go aftermarket, but you'll hae to buy a Double Din adapter for your AC controls'

 

i know about the double din option, but i dont want to go that route....i wanna know if i can put a 2005 non bose into my2003 bose?

 

I don't think so, most of the bose connections and what not are a little different (so I was told by someone who works in the car-audio field). He told me this, but he had never opened one up on a G, so couldn't be sure.

i'm selling my 05 bose in 2-3 wks. if u can wait that long u can purchase mine

the connectors on the back of the radios are the same, but there are a couple of reasons why the 05 won't work in you 03. First, the AC controller buttons are different. Second, the 05 non-bose HU would send speaker level signals to your Bose amp which would be too much input. you could step it down from speaker level to line level, but you still have the issue with the AC controller.
