yepp ive been having the same problems too. its a big issue on the 03's and 04's as the clarion headunits just suck. they dont seem to read burnt CDs well. alot of members have suggested banging the left side of the radio a few times and the speakers will kick back in but this is not a permanent fix.

Do you still have warranty? I have an 04 as well and have already met with the service manager who is ordering me a new headunit to replace my current. I highly suggest you bring your car into the dealership asap on this.

I am not sure if the Z has the same Bose unit as the G35 but when I had my 04 Toruing Z the radio was doing what you are describing and they had to replace the whole unit.

Very annoying to take a corner and the speakers would cut out. Also it would skip on the drive to work. Shey should reaplace it under warranty.

yep, ive got an '04 with the bose system and i have to slam on the brakes to make the speakers kick back in. i mostly listen to my archos now so i dont have to worry about the speakers cutting off.
