Eclipse AVN install NEED HELP

Got the dd kit and eclipse avn5500 mounted everything, ran all the wires. I have a 04 Coupe non-bose. Got a harness from Al & Ed's and plug it in but no power goes to the unit. Tested the unit on my brothers accord, works fine. I think the harness is not the right one, the guy at Al & Ed's says its for a 350Z and it should work. Also I don't have the antenna adapter is this a problem? Please help......

The ground wire on a Nissan adapter does not go to ground. You need to ground the stereo to the chasis.

yes...ground the stereo to chassis. the antenna acts like a ground so that may be why it isnt working since you dont have it connected.
