input on Cleansweep needed

I did a search but got nothing specific on the 07 sedan in terms of the JL Audio cleansweep. Anyone know if the cleansweep will work well with the 07 sedan non Bose HU? I'm not sure if the non Bose HU ouputs equalization on the signal. This is the reason I'm not certain if the cleansweep is really needed.

I have the LC6 and it does what you need to have done.
The equalization and all of that sort of stuff is done within the Bose amp, not by the headunit-- in other words, the signal coming out of the headunit and going IN to the Bose amp is clean and not equalized, but the stuff coming OUT of the amp is all EQ'd up.

So if you want a pure signal, just take your signal before the amp.
