Hi, does anyone happen to have a wiring diagram for installing a remote starter alarm system. I'm trying to get my compustar remote starter installed. but have no clue where the wire goes in our car.

What year is your car?

 

it's an 04 coupe, should have mentioned that earlier sorry.

 

12volts - white/blue @ ignition harness
starter - white/red or red/white @ ignition harness
2nd starter - white/gree @ ignition harness
ignition - black/red @ ignition harness
accessory - white/black @ igntion harness

keysense - black/pink @ ignition harness or BCM
power lock - yellow @ driver door module in door
power unlock - lt. blue (double pulse) @ driver door mdoule in door
lock motor - purple @ BCM
unlock motor - yellow @ BCM
disarm defeat - white/blue @ BCM
Parking lights (+) - red/blue @ driver kick, harness to rear
door trigger - Yellow (dr), pink (pass) @ BCM
Dome supervision - purple/red @ BCM
trunk pin - red @ BCM
hood pin - lt. green/black @ hood pin switch under hood
trunk release - pink @ BCM
tach - NOT white/blue or black at igniton coil or fuel injector
speed sense - white/green at radio harness
brake wire - pink/blue @ brake pedal switch
parking brake - lt. green/black or purple/red @ parking brake switch
horn trigger - green/black @ horn switch

on another note, have you had any experience with compustar, apparently i heard they are one of the harder unit to install.

 

does this apply for 05 also and what is bcm?

 

No, those are for the '04. The '05 may or may not be different.

The BCM is the Body Control Module, located in the drivers kick panel.
