This is what the Aftermarket DD kit looks like

Had to be the guinea pig and check this out for myself, found a local warehouse in Jersey (Bergen Co) that sells these cheap DD kits, went to take a look at them and they weren’t bad. The buttons are ugly as hell but I think I can do something with the OEM buttons on there. Color is a Perfect match, even has silver trim on the vents. Buttons light up the same and work the same as OEM. Since I had my HU sitting around and the DD kit was right there I decided to go for it and install this for now till I get the OEM kit later down the road.
BTW this kit is not from metra it's from another manuf called Turbo2

Oh yea lol, downtown here
Yea it's a quick easy solution, it matches perfect with the rest of the trims and buttons light up and work the same as OEM.
Still getting the OEM though

Nice install! I'm in Philly, where exactly did you get this kit? I am looking to get one, could you PM me with the info por favor? Did you have to modify the the kit to make the pioneer fit? It looks like it is recessed.

I had a couple close calls on rt 80 on rt 21 in the fast lane on the way home from belleville there is a dip that made my jaw crack and another bad one down in atlantic city but they are holding up strong lol

ok Please help me which exact harness did you use pleaes specifiy a link if you can find one, because from what I reaserched I found 2 answers

-----------------------------------------
1. I went into a shop yesterday and they told me I only need the Nissan harness with the antenna conversion
------------------------------------------

2. I was told I need the nissan harness + the antenna conversion + another plug to convert the HU singnal that the amp and speakers will understand

---------------------------------------------

Now how did you do it? And how long did the installation take you?

Thanks
