ah bing, ur still alive! haha wondering where u have been.
nice job as always...have you torn your car apart yet and gone active? CES is coming up soon. hehehe.

anyways how do the 2 ID's sound since the sub channel on the ra50 is not the most powerful. Does it push two subs ok?

they do fine, the IDs are well matched to the RA50, they are vey efficient subs, only need about 200 watts a piece to sound good

does that alpine have a navi function? that would suck if it did. it would be a waste of a feature. I have navi in mine also but i want to do the same thing was wondering if it did come w/ navi on the alpine or not. I hope not.

How many watts is your amp and subs?

I dunno much aobut systems.

no it doesnt, the alpine double dins are just dvd/cd/mp3 players, to get nav you either need the nav module or dock a blakcbird

amp is conservatively rated at 4x75 1x400ish, we are bridging it as a big 3 channel getting roughly 2x200+ watts to the front, and 1x400 for the two subs

What About If I Have A 6 Disc Cd Changer? Would That Complicate The Installation? I Doubt The Infiniti 6 Cd Changer Will Work W/ The Alpine Right? So I Have To Remove All That?

waht do you mean 6 disc changer? you mean the factory 6 disc changer headunit? or do you mean you have an external infiniti 6 dsic changer stashed somehwere? i have yet to encounter such a thing...but it wouldnt complicated anyhting, it would just mean it wont work anymore.

unless its an FM modulated changer, then it can still work, but not sure if you want to, cuase it would sound dramatically worse thant he alpine's built in cd player

Kick Panel Speaker Pods?

Are those custom made, or can they be bought online? They look awesome.

So, two questions for you:

1. When you do a set of kicks like that, what about the fusebox that is right behind the drivers left foot on the G35?

2. Second, can you just sell the kick panel, or or would you have to do a complete installation?

1. i make my own kicks and i have been making them and selling them to oh..hmm 40 or so Zs and Gs...

2. if you use DLS 3 ways, the midrange and tweet can be flushed into the stock kick, iwth out molding, i cut it dampened it and put in the speakres.

if you go to my site in my sig, you will see a crap load of kicks in Zs and Gs if you click on the pics

No, I know you make your own kicks, I have seen many examples on Driver of them; what I was asking, can you make a set of kicks without the car there, and sell and ship them to someone (say, me)?

yeah, i do it all the time

what i am saying is though, if you want DLS 3 ways in kicks like that, ummm all it requires is some expoxy or hot glue, some dampening and a jigsaw, no need for me to make htem for you al though i would if you want.

most of hte kicks i build and ship are the two way kicks or on axis aimed kicks that involved molding with fiberglass
