jl vs. eclipse
Re: jl vs. eclipse
So far the JL W7 series is the hottest Sh*t in town. Too many good feed back on the W7s and you can't go wrong with it. I'm a die hard Kicker Solobaric fan and now I'm series looking to switch my loyalty to the W7.

Re: jl vs. eclipse
I'm in the same dilemma, and i'm kind of steering away from the W7's because the boxes they require are too big for the G coupe trunks. I'm looking into the 10" Kicker L7's now, only requires approximately a 1 cubic foot box, cheaper price, and I heard nothing but good reviews.

went to the store before and saw the w7 for the first time. WoW that thing is like 1 and 1/2 feet tall and weighs like 80 pounds dam. the guy at the place told me that unless i make the whole trunk my box its not going to work
Re: jl vs. eclipse
I went from 3 JL12W3's to one 13W7. To tell you the truth I wasnt that impressed w/ the W7. I even had a Zapco 9.0xd on the sub w/ 2,200 watts. If I were to do it all over again I would use Image Dynamics IMO.

dpoon,
I guess you could say that I'm on the JL Bandwagon (450/4, 500/1, 12w7). They make great products albeit expensive ones. With that said, I'd be willing to bet that 1 ID Max wouldn't be able to do any better against the 3 12"s either. If money, space, weight were no concern, I'd take the 3 good 12"s anyday over any single driver.
