Talking Finally posting pics of my Audio/Video install..

Well I have been meaning to post some pics so here ya go. I can't remember who here recommended them but the install was done by Robert, Donny & Trevon over at maximumautosound. Cool people but more important they do some great work. I will continue to take all of my own as well as friends cars there. I plan on taking better pics once I drop the front a bit but this will do for now, Enjoy.

The Ride:
2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe

The Audio/Video:
-Eclipse Head unit
-8" Touchscreen
-15" LCD
-Carpc
-JL Audio ZR-650-CSi mids/highs
-JL Audio 300/2
-JL Audio 2x10W6v2 in 4080's.
-JL Audio 1000/1

The Interior.

False floor which has the carpc mounted under it.

The Trunk..
Suede/Vinyl/Plexi/Neons

Streetdeck running on the carpc.

The Rims.. 20" Asanti MS-147's Color matched.

Safe to say I am extremely happy with the outcome and more importantly it sounds great. I was never a huge fan of JL mids/highs until I heard the ZR's they sound amazing. Comments welcome.

Nice set-up, it looks like quality work. The 15" LCD in the trunk is a bit much tho.

Oh now that i know you live on Philip ave between Speide and Spruce, i'll stop by and say wats up

roblo I had to go a little extreme. It all snowballed because I just wanted navi, I am in the computer field so I knew I was going carpc. With the cost being so low I had to go with the trunk lid. It wasn't high on my to do list but I am happy I did it because everyone who see's it up close is impressed they did an amazing job. They actually fiberglassed the trunklid and reused the original push buttons to secure it. I planned on showing the car so it was just one of those things you dont see everyday.

Bing, I will try get some close up for you. Sorry it didnt work out with our original idea but I am happy with option 2 and your still cranking out installs I see so it worked out well for the both of us. The gray suede strips are pretty cool, they are Velcro'd down to vinyl you remove those 2 strips and you can lift up the false floor to get to the caps, wiring, fuses and 300/2. When we first planned it out we both agreed we should make it as accessible as possible and everything back there is pressure fitted. It was tricky with the plexi, after cranking on those w6's I would loose the lower plexi into the hole but that was resolved a couple saturdays ago. Now all is good

Very nice! Do you have any "behind the scenes" pics of the trunk lid? I want to do the same thing and move my rear 650s there as well.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Bing, the shop is callled Maximum Auto Sound & Performance They are located in Garwood New Jersey. The stock set of tweeters are still functional along with the JL's and it honestly sounds very crisp. As I said before I was never a huge fan of JL mids/highs but the ZR's really impressed me. He has an rx8 he is doing for himself there and he had the ZR's in it so I checked them out once I heard them I was sold.

Meatshackle sorry I do not have any of the install pics, only close one is the trunk lid taped off about to be glassed but that won't help any.
