CD player just clicks and stereo unit wont shut off
Weird problem. CD loudly clicks and wont eject. Screen flashes error and the damn thing wont quit when the car is turned off. It still clicks and there is power to it because you can hear it cued up in the speakers and the screen flashes with the key turned off and pulled out. I pulled the fuse for now. Can driving with no radio fuse for awhile hurt anything? any ideas?
Now thats aggrivating.
Just had my CD player replaced under warranty last Tuesday. With mine the problem was on ignition the left side of the car had no sound? If I switched to any other CD (which took forever)the sound came back on.It never did this with the radio, just the CD player so I knew it wasn't the speakers.
It's all good now!
I know these things have a Bose tag but they were actually made by Clarion for Bose.
Take it to the dealer, good luck with your problem.

A known problem with G35s. CD-FO error means it is toast. If you are under warranty, they will swap it out for you. If not, you will pay about $350 to have it repaired. I'm on my third CD player as of now.....
Dealer said it was a $400 repair and I had to wait 6 weeks with a hole in my dash. I do have an extended warranty but who knows if they will pay. I wish there was a different direction to go on this. Plus with the radio fuse out the ac is on some kind of default auto econ and wont turn off.
Oh well........

Ohh sh$$. Few months ago, my Left speakers would not work, then the sound will come back. I noticed that this only happened (twice) whenever I would have the volume so low that it was practically inaudible (stupid chick kept lowering it, cause she thought whatever she was saying was worth hearing). I called dealership and they say it's "channel" issue.
Now the CD player is not playing at all. It says "Check Disk". Just called Dealer and they want to replace it. Waiting to hear if my Ext-warr covers it.
In the event it doesn't, I was sick of it not being able to play an MP3s. So any suggestions. I'm on a budget too and I'm not feeling the whole MP3 Player with cassette adapter thingy, it's soo 90s.
