sub install help on 07 sedan base audio

few quick questions about the sub install I'm about to do.

1. What's the easiest place to run the power wire from battery to trunk?

2. Where exactly can I hook the remote wire to? In my last car there was a power antenna that I could hook into.

3. Where can I hook the line level inputs to? It doesn't have the bose audio, but it looks like the wires that send the signal to the amp are in the trunk, can I use those? If so, is it the black and white wires on the drivers side?

Someone with the bose audio can probably answer #3 for me by looking in their trunk.

Thanks for your help.

Well.... I tried the wires in the trunk. They didn't work. Either they don't carry a signal, or the signal isn't strong enough to trigger my remote wire converter.

So, I'm at the point where everything is run and hooked up.... except the line level inputs. I can't freaking figure out which wires are the speaker wires and/or how to get to the wires in the doors.

I can pull the panels off the doors and see what colors the wires are going into the speakers, I just don't know 1. Which is positive and which is negative and 2. How to tap into them before they reach the doors. By the front door there are like 5 wiring harnesses and 50+ different wires.

So frustrating......

If the wires in the trunk are for the Bose system, then they wouldn't be connected to the HU because you don't have the Bose system. That's why those won't work.

Well.... I ended up tapping into the rear passenger door speaker. The wires were pink and blue. I tapped in before they go into the door. All set up and it sounds good.

To get the wires through the trunk, you can push the top back of the passenger seat up and in the top corner there's some foam that you can push out and run the wires through there without drilling. Just an FYI for whoever else tries to hook up some speakers.
