07 DD Kit

So the 08 G's came out with all that nifty tech stuff like Hard Drive MP3, etc and now I feel the need to replace my Bose HU. I know they make DD kits for our cars but is there any for an 07 with Nav and Bluetooth?

You can retain your OEM navi and bluetooth when adding a DD HU. https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-video-electronics/157269-i-have-working-nav-voice-bt-alpine-hu.html

The 07 DD kit is the same as the 05 and 06.

Hi Sean, thanks for your reply. Question for you...what about the dual climate control? Also, what do I need besides the DD adaptor to make all this work? I read the other posts but can't get a solid answer.
Thanks!

There are plenty of straightforward threads on what you need and what you need to do.

You need the DD trim piece, the AC controller, Nissan antenna adapter, Nissan wire harness adapter kit, and a PAC steering wheel interface. If you want the dual climate button to work, you'll have to desolder your micro button from your current AC controller board and solder it onto the new controller and change the button cover.

I don't know about the 07 (although it should be the same as the 05-06) but what you SHOULD need is a double din finisher (faceplate) and AC controller. To make the Dual climate to work, you will need to remove the button from the old AC controller (the new one won't have this button) and solder a few things to make the LED to work on the new controller. Other than that, that's really all you need (besides all the other obvious items like a new HU, etc.).

Thanks for all your help guys. I will probably go this route soon. One last question: what is the max depth of the HU that can be installed? I'm looking around for a good DD touch-screen and needed to know the max depth accepted in our cars with this kit. I'm also going to assume any DD HU will work depending on depth?

I haven't heard of a mainstream DD HU not fitting in the dash.
