PAC-SWIPS question (steering wheel controls)

I just put in the JDM double din conversion with a Pioneer AVIC-D3 with ipod integration and the PAC-SWIPS steering wheel controls. Everything works perfectly except for the track up and down for the ipod. For some reason there is quite a delay in the switch working plus its hard to get it to change tracks using the steering wheel controls. Did the shop do something wrong in the install or did they put in the wrong unit? It doesnt really work, I would push the track up or down and wait and nothing happens or I have to hold it for awhile and sometimes the tracks go forward or backward.

I have the same problem. My volume/power/source works perfectly though. Im pretty sure the resistor value for the track wire was not specified correctly for our car. I have not had a chance to contact PAC to see what they have to say about it.
