03-04 bose headunit same as 05-06 bose headunit

i got that damn CD error message on my headunit and it making that clicking noise..i ran out of warranty already so i gotta replace it myself.
i was wondering if the bose headunit from a 03-04 is the same from a 05-06 headunit anyone know?

They are not the same head unit. The AC / radio control boards are different, as are the buttons and their shapes. The 03-04 has a tpe deck while the 05-07 (coupe) does not.
