I searched and found a few very old threads on this box. Most thought it sucked or at least wasn't that great. I am having one installed next week, but I am going to go a different route if this is still the general concensus. Will you guys chime in and give your opinion about this?

Generally people agree that they suck and you can get a lot more out of something like a 4080 box, my personal favorite. This guy is an artist for sure, I wondered how the box would stay in place without screws or bolts... then I installed it and understood how well they fit.
Don't get me wrong, I love JL and am generally a fan of the stealthboxes, but in this case there's a lot better stuff out there if you're not 110% against using part of your trunk for a sub. I really haven't had a problem with it, the sub takes up a lot less space than you'd think.

The thing that killed me was the price, it just didn't seem to add up for one entry-level JL 10.

stealthbox is not that great of an option...i went with their 10w7 prowedge box...doesnt take up much room at all i can still fit in golfclubs in my trunk...
