SoCAL Newbie Help

Hey guys,

Just joined the forum and been reading through some great and informative posts. I tried checking the SoCAL area but couldnt find what I needed. Maybe you guys can help me...

I just got a 2007 G35 Coupe/DG/Prem/Navi/Sports/Aero (loving it). I was reading through posts regarding iPod adapters.

First off, what seems to be the best option? I've been reading the Nissan adapter is the best, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Secondly, where is the best place for installs in the SoCAL area? I'm near the OC, and I have been having trouble finding people to install. Infiniti dealerships will not install it since it's a Nissan part, and I'm not sure if Nissan will.

Any help would be appreciated. Once again... LOVING THE CAR AND FORUM...
Thanks in advance...

Thanks so much, and do you know the exact part numbers I would need? I'm going to try and get it from my local Nissan dealer. And would I need any sort of extension cable if I wanted to mount it in my center console?

not sure the exact part #, go to g35parts.com thats where i ordered mine. it comes with i believe a 3 foot cable, they suppose to be making a 10ft one, so i heard, but i didnt want to wait for it to come out, which is y i put the main box under the rear seat, otherwise if u dont want to do that u wont be able to but it in ur center consle, but its perfectly fine to put it under the back seat and the cable will reach perfectly to the center console from there. also if you dont have sat radio u dont need the extra part which is 25$, so it you dont have it its 185
