Questions about replacing stock speaker wire.

I just got a new system for the G and I am going to run some components with about 165rms to each. I am wondering if the stock speaker cable can handle that kind of power or if I should completely replace it with some aftermarket stuff. I did this in my accord and it was extremely annoying and I ended up drilling holes in the doors. If anyone has any tips that would be great. BTW I have a stock bose system. I dont know if that makes a difference I havent checked to see what gauge the stock speaker wire is. Any help would be great thanks.

if you're gonna be running that kind of power you should ditch the flimsy 20ga stock wires and install at least 16ga speaker wires. No need to drill holes in the doors but you do need to pull the molex connectors and drill some holes in that. It's a pain in the *** and you better have some small hands cause it's tight getting to the door harness.
