Supposedly coming in March, price around $2700. I deliberately ordered my G35c without factory NAV as I planned to get this unit.

 

Is it touchscreen? Do you need the dvd changer to play dvd's or is it a dvd player also?

I think its touchscreen, however it is still a pioneer. dont get me wrong it is a bad-a$$ unit, but sometime in mid march and april Alpine and Kenwood are launching there new Tv's The alpine is going to be a touchscreen but when you press the on screen buttons its is going to feel like your depressing an actual buttom, it has this along with hundreds of new features and new looks. And Kenwoods Unit the 915 DVD is just going to be bad-*** altogether, whole new look, better display (to compete with the class decimating display of the current Alpine IVA-D900) and a whole gang load of new features as well. They all will have built in dvd/xm/sirius/mp3/wma/tv tuner along with cool new stuff. I'd wait and check those out before your leap for the Pioneer.

but are any of those units (alpine,kenwood)have the capabilities of the nav.
this unit supposedly can play dvds and be used for nav as well.
i need more people to give me info on this unit, cuz i am seriously thinking about buying this unit.

The Pioneer is touchscreen, is single din that supports both Nav and DVD playing. It has "memory Nav" where you put in a route and can take the Nav disc out and put a DVD in, and you'll still have Nav features while playing the DVD. Not to mention the cool Gtech features.

 

Here is a pic of the Kenwood 915 (its VDX-09M over there in japan-land), its coming here soon, and as for features I couldnt tell ya because i cant read japanese...some help??
But its probably going to be similar to all the companies new models coming out here soon.

Looks like it doesn't do navigation. Ehh ... still rootin for the Pioneer.
