Help reading pinout diagram

Help reading pinout diagram

I'm trying to tap into my 07 sedan's Bose SOW amp wiring to run another amp and just need the high level speaker lines.

Someone posted a connector diagram and which pins to use. I just need to figure out if the diagram is based on looking at the connector from the contact side(flat side) or the wire side(where the wires enter the connector). I want to make sure I'm tapping the right wires.

Almost all diagrams I have seen like this are from pin side (looking into the pins/holes). Check to see which one is the ground pin or ACC, and use a voltmeter to check. That will verify the pins.

The bottom diagram should be easy to figure out. It has two slots on one side and three on the other. Carry that orientation to the top diagram.
