help with sub install in sedan

help with sub install in sedan

where are the wires in my trunk to hook the LOC's up to so i can run an amp and sub.
This is in a 03 sedan without the BOSE system.

You need to connect your LOC to the rear speaker wires, which will probably be easier to do before they go into the rear doors. The non-Bose system may have a harness in the trunk, I haven't personally checked, but if it is there, it won't be active.

pull out the radio and tap off the radio harness, and ur acc wire there anyways.

damn i was hoping for an easier way since taking the radio out looks a little time consuming.
what is the acc wire?

Tapping into the Bose system in the trunk isn't any easier.

Acc is accessory.

YOU COULD just hook up one speaker and tie the loc together, not the greatest but hey.

^ That won't work. The acc wire is a 12 volt wire. No audio signal goes through it. You have to tap into the audio wires.

I have the 03.5 sedan w/o premium BOSE, so you have no bose at all? If you are like me then even in the non premium there is an amp in the trunk. Its on the under side of the rear deck. There you can hook up the LOC and the ACC wires.

which side is the amp on
im confused about this acc wire.
what do i need it for?
